What Carrd does well

  • It is very cheap: Pro Standard is $19 a year and adds custom domains, forms, widgets, embeds and analytics.
  • Carrd says sites look right on phones, tablets and computers out of the box.
  • Pro forms include contact, signup and payment-enabled forms, and you can embed tools such as Stripe, PayPal and Typeform.

Where Carrd is harder for a local business

  • Carrd describes its product as one-page sites, so there are no separate Services, Gallery or About pages.
  • Free sites show "Made with Carrd" branding, and removing it needs a Pro plan.
  • You buy the domain yourself and add DNS records at your domain provider to connect it. Carrd's guide walks through this.
  • Custom domains and forms are Pro features.

Where bizhq is the weaker choice

  • Your address is yourname.bizhq.page. You can't use your own .com on the free plan.
  • A site has 3 to 5 fixed pages. There is no blog.
  • No online store or payments, and no booking calendar on the site itself. The Book button opens the booking app you already use.
  • Visitor stats are simple counts of visits and button taps, not a full analytics tool.
  • One site per account.

Which should you pick?

Pick Carrd if a one-page site is enough for you, you want your own .com for about $19 a year plus the domain, and you're comfortable setting up DNS records or following a guide.

Pick bizhq if you want several pages (services, gallery, about, contact) started for you, a contact form without a paid plan, an address you can share today, and no domain setup.
