Is it really free?
Yes. No credit card, no trial period, no hosting fee. Your site lives at yourname.bizhq.page and shows a small "Free website by bizhq" link in the footer.
How do you make money?
Some owners later want more: their own .com, professional email, a blog, extra pages. We offer those as optional upgrades. You never have to buy anything, and your free site keeps working either way.
Who owns my website?
You do. The words and photos are yours. You can download your whole website from the editor at any time and host it anywhere. You can unpublish it whenever you like, and if you want it deleted, write to us and we'll remove it.
What if bizhq shuts down?
Your free site has no end date. If bizhq ever shuts down, we'll email you at least 90 days before, and you can download your whole website to host anywhere.
Can customers message me through the site?
Yes. Every new site has a contact form on its Contact page. Messages go to your inbox in the editor and to the email you signed up with. Customers can also call, text or email you with one tap.
Can my site be in Spanish too?
Yes. Turn on the Spanish version and we translate your site by machine. You check the wording and change anything you like before you show it. Visitors can switch between English and Spanish.
What if I get stuck?
Sign in and tap Get help. A real person will call you for 15 minutes, or make the changes for you, free.
Do I need to know anything about websites?
No. If you can fill in a form and send a text message, you can do this. The site is built for you first, and you only change what you want to.
Will my site show up on Google?
Every site includes the technical basics Google looks for. Nobody can promise a ranking, and new sites can take a while to appear. Setting up your free Google Business Profile as well is a good idea.
